I’m Cherish Edjesa, a product manager focused on building products that do not shortchange users or businesses. I’m drawn to product work because I’ve seen how poor design decisions, such as confusing interfaces, unfair pricing, and growth-at-all-costs thinking, erode trust and exclude people. I build to prevent that.
Over the past 2+ years, I’ve worked across edtech, healthtech, and civic tech in Nigeria and Africa, managing products from ideation through launch. My experience includes shipping MVPs under tight timelines, designing approval systems that maintained 75 to 80 percent quality standards while remaining user-friendly, and developing pricing models that balanced accessibility with sustainability.
I work at the intersection of user research, business strategy, and execution. I coordinate cross-functional teams, break down complex workflows, and make trade-offs that scale responsibly. I’m a Certified Scrum Master, a 2024 Burning Heroes Africa PM Contest finalist, and I’m currently exploring AI automation to improve product operations and decision-making.
